Ten years ago, Bainbridge Island author Steph Jagger was living in her native Vancouver, Canada, living a life that she describes as good but not great. She left everything behind to pursue her passions, hitting the ski slopes in search of a more fulfilling life.

Jagger chronicled that experience in her first book, Unbound: A Story of Snow and Self-Discovery. Now, Jagger is preparing for the release of her second book, Everything Left to Remember, which examines her relationship with her mother, who was diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer's in 2015. The book comes out on April 26, and Jagger will be speaking about it at Bainbridge Island's Eagle Harbor Book Co. on April 28.
